Corporate History

Dup's, Inc. began as Dup's Pump Sales in 1950 as a small family service and supply company. Our  market consisted of service stations with sales directed towards equipment used in these facilities. (i.e., gasoline and diesel pumps, lifts, tanks, and air compressors.)  With the ever changing technological advances and increased Federal and State regulations, Dup's broadend their scope of services to meet their clients needs. In 1972, the organization was incorporated to become Dup's Inc.  Dup's Inc. grew to become a full service provider of in-house construction, design consulting, compliance consulting, environmental services, equipment sales, electricians and service technician staff to meet any clients needs. The list of current clients include major oil companies, state and local governments, independent jobbers, general contractors and developers and commercial end users.

In 1988, the EPA established regulations covering underground storage tank systems containing regulated substances.  The Texas Water Commission was appointed by the EPA as the agency in Texas responsible for enforcement of these new regulations.  Governor Bill Clements reached out to J.C. DuPriest of Dup's, Inc. and commissioned him to help write these new regulations and sit on the advisory board. This led to sweeping changes and Dup's, Inc. as a leading advisor to the industry.

Now in the 21st century, Dup's Inc. has grown to become a multi-faceted company with divisions in Alternative Energy, Nanotechnology and Land Development.  Through many key partnerships, Dup's Inc. is working to build a better America.
